Casting announced for MGM adaptation of THE TRUTH ABOUT THE HARRY QUEBERT AFFAIR
The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair is to be adapted for a ten-part television series by MGM, and the casting of principal roles has just been announced. Harry Quebert, the famous author at the heart of a murder investigation, will be played by Patrick Dempsey (Grey's Anatomy, Bridget Jones' Baby, and the completely brilliant Enchanted), and Marcus Goldman, his former mentee, by Ben Schnetzer (The Book Thief, Happy Town). Fifteen-year-old murder victim Nola Kellergan will be played by Kristine Froseth, and Marcus' co-investigator, Perry Gahalowood, will be played by Damon Wayans Jr.
Production is currently underway in Canada, with all episodes directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud (Seven Years in Tibet). The series will air on Epix.
