THE GIRL WHO TAKES AN EYE FOR AN EYE: continuing Stieg Larsson's Millennium series

The girl with the dragon tattoo is not given to forgiveness.

Lisbeth Salander has been forged by a brutal childhood and horrific abuse. And repeated attempts on her life.

The ink embedded in her skin is a constant reminder of her pledge to fight against the injustice she finds on every side.

The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye has been revealed as the English title of the second book in the continuation of Stieg Larsson’s Millennium series by Swedish writer David Lagercrantz.

The book is scheduled for worldwide publication on 7th September; MacLehose Press will be publishing it in the UK, as well as in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India and Ireland, and in export in the English language everywhere except the US and Canada.

The English title differs from that of its Swedish counterpart, announced by publisher Norstedts in February: Mannen Som Sökte Sin Sugga, which translates as The Man Who Chased His Shadow.

The text of the novel, now complete, is being translated from the Swedish by George Goulding. Lagercrantz will be in the UK from 12th - 15th September to promote.

David Lagercrantz is also set to write a further novel in the Millennium series.
